Add/Remove/Change Activity of a Company/Legal Entity

Overview: An HK company/legal entity may add/remove/change the activity of a company/legal entity at any time.

Main specifications:

• Multiple changes simultaneously are possible
• In case of a change in activities, the company/legal entity is obliged to report the changes to the HK Trade Register
• If a new activity has not been prescribed in the Articles of Association, it is necessary to amend the Articles of Association before adding the activity to the HK Trade Register

Term of registration: 2-3 working days

Personal presence: Not required

Conditions for registration:

• The decision of the board of directors to add/remove/change the activity of a company/legal entity
• The appropriate HSIC code must be provided for each new activity

Required documents:

• Passport or European ID card (for all associated persons)
• Extract from the Trade Register not older than 3 months (for all associated legal persons)
• Signed Decision to add/remove/change the activity of a company/legal entity
